Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below a value of 10 are said to be worth face value meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they simply appear as the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards will then be given out to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for each hand is the grand total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is discarded. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as 5 will have a tally of two (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be played depending on the foll. rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a total score of eight or 9, both bettors stand.

- If the player has 5 or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart is used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores is the winner. Winning bets on the banker payout nineteen to twenty (even money less a five percent commission. Commission is tracked and cleared out when you leave the table so be sure to have dollars remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie usually pay eight to 1 and sometimes 9 to one. (This is a terrible wager as ties occur less than one every ten hands. abstain from putting money on a tie. Regardless odds are certainly better – nine to 1 vs. 8 to one)

Played effectively, baccarat provides fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some established myths. One of which is very similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way a predictor of future outcomes. Keeping track of previous results on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and almost certainly most successful method is the one-3-two-six scheme. This process is deployed to build up earnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove four so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a sum of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Thus that you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
