Punto Banco Rules and Method

Baccarat Banque Rules

Baccarat banque is wagered on with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below ten are counted at their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum of the cards, however the 1st digit is dumped. e.g., a hand of 5 and six has a total of one (5 plus 6 = 11; drop the 1st ‘1′).

A 3rd card will be given using the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of 8 or 9, both players hold.

- If the gambler has five or less, she takes a card. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player stays, the bank takes a card on 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a guide is used to decide if the bank holds or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The better of the 2 hands wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19:20 (equal cash less a five percent rake. Commission are tracked and cleared out once you quit the game so be sure to have money around before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pays one to one. Winning wagers for tie usually pays out at eight to one but on occasion nine to one. (This is a awful bet as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for nine to one vs. eight to one)

Played properly baccarat banque offers fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of familiar false impressions. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future actions. Tracking previous outcomes on a chart is a waste of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most established and probably the most acknowledged course of action is the one-three-two-six method. This plan is deployed to maximize profits and minimizing losses.

Start by wagering one chip. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of three units on the second bet. If you win you will retain six on the game table, subtract 4 so you keep 2 on the third bet. If you come away with a win on the 3rd bet, put down 2 on the four on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first round followed by a loss on the second creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a hit on the third gives you with a take of 2. And success on the initial three with a loss on the 4th means you balance the books. Succeeding at all four bets leaves you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you are able to lose the second bet five instances for every successful streak of 4 bets and in the end, break even.
