Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules
Punto banco is wagered on with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under ten are valued at their printed number while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the cards, however the 1st number is dropped. For instance, a hand of five and 6 has a value of one (five plus 6 = eleven; ditch the 1st ‘1′).
A third card could be given using the rules below:
- If the gambler or bank gets a value of eight or 9, the two players stay.
- If the player has less than five, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.
- If the player stays, the bank takes a card on a value lower than 5. If the player takes a card, a table is employed to decide if the house stands or hits.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The bigger of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout 19:20 (even payout less a 5% commission. Commission are tracked and paid off once you leave the table so be sure to have cash remaining before you head out). Winning wagers on the gambler pays out at one to one. Winning wagers for a tie frequently pays out at eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a poor bet as ties occur less than one in every 10 hands. Avoid gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)
Played correctly baccarat provides relatively decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Scheme
As with all games punto banco has a few familiar false impressions. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of future events. Recording past results at a table is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.
The most familiar and almost certainly the most favorable strategy is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This method is deployed to build up earnings and limit risk.
Start by betting 1 chip. If you win, add another to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 dollars on the second bet. If you win you will now have six on the game table, subtract four so you keep 2 on the third wager. If you succeed on the 3rd round, deposit two on the 4 on the table for a sum total of six on the fourth round.
Should you lose on the initial round, you take a hit of 1. A win on the initial wager followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Success on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you with a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth means you are even. Winning at all 4 wagers leaves you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd wager 5 instances for every successful run of four rounds and in the end, break even.
