Baccarat Protocols
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards under 10 are worth their printed value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they only appear as the 2 hands to be played).
2 hands of two cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for every hand shall be the sum of the two cards, but the 1st digit is removed. For example, a hand of 7 and 5 results in a score of 2 (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).
A third card could be dealt depending on the foll. protocols:
- If the gambler or banker has a total of eight or 9, then both players stand.
- If the gambler has 5 or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.
- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the player hits, a chart is used in order to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The greater of the 2 scores wins. Victorious wagers on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even odds minus a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have cash left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie normally pays eight to one and occasionally nine to 1. (This is a bad wager as ties will occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of laying money on a tie. Even so odds are appreciably better – nine to one vs. eight to 1)
When done accurately, baccarat presents pretty good odds, apart from the tie bet ofcourse.
Baccarat Tactics
As with just about every games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. 1 of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an indicator of future actions. Keeping track of historic results on a chart is a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.
The most popular and possibly most successful strategy is the one-3-two-6 scheme. This scheme is deployed to accentuate payout and lowering risk.
Begin by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away four so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum of six on the 4th bet.
If you lose on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Therefore you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
