Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are give a value of face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they only symbolize the two hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the grand total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of 7 … five produces a score of two (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card might be played depending on the foll. practices:

- If the player or banker has a total score of 8 or 9, the two players stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart shall be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores is the winner. Successful stakes on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even money less a five percent commission. Commission is monitored and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure you have $$$$$ left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie normally pay 8 to one and sometimes 9 to one. (This is a crazy bet as ties will occur less than 1 every ten hands. be cautious of betting on a tie. Even so odds are radically better – nine to one versus 8 to 1)

Played properly, baccarat offers generally good odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. One of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way a predictor of future outcomes. Staying abreast of historic results on a chart is undoubtedly a complete waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and feasibly most successful technique is the one-three-2-six method. This method is used to boost winnings and cutting back risk.

Begin by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract four so you have 2 on the third gamble. If you win the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Therefore that you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
