Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards valued less than ten are counted at face value and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they strictly act as the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for every hand will be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For e.g., a hand of 7 and 5 results in a value of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card might be dealt depending on the foll. codes:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of 8 or nine, both bettors stand.

- If the bettor has five or less, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the gambler hits, a chart might be used in order to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Victorious stakes on the banker pay 19 to twenty (even money less a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have cash remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pays out at 8 to 1 and occasionally nine to one. (This is a terrible wager as ties occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. be cautious of putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially better – nine to 1 versus eight to one)

When played properly, baccarat offers relatively decent odds, apart from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. 1 of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way a predictor of future outcomes. Keeping track of last conclusions on a chart is undoubtedly a complete waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and feasibly most successful technique is the 1-three-two-6 method. This method is employed to increase successes and limiting risk.

start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away four so you have 2 on the 3rd gamble. If you win the third wager, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Thus you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
