Punto Banco Regulations
Baccarat banque is wagered on with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards under ten are worth face value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the total of the cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and six has a value of one (five plus six equals eleven; ditch the first ‘one’).
A 3rd card will be given based on the following rules:
- If the gambler or banker has a total of eight or 9, the two players stand.
- If the player has five or lower, he hits. Players otherwise stand.
- If the player stands, the bank hits on a total lower than 5. If the gambler hits, a table is used to determine if the banker stays or hits.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The better of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout 19 to 20 (equal money minus a 5 percent commission. The Rake is kept track of and paid off once you leave the game so be sure to still have money around before you head out). Winning wagers on the player pays 1 to 1. Winning wagers for a tie typically pay 8 to 1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than one in every ten hands. Avoid wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus 8 to 1)
Wagered on properly baccarat chemin de fer provides pretty decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Banque Scheme
As with all games baccarat banque has a few established misconceptions. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future outcomes. Tracking past outcomes on a sheet of paper is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.
The most established and possibly the most acknowledged method is the one, three, two, six tactic. This tactic is used to maximize winnings and minimizing losses.
Begin by placing 1 unit. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a total of three chips on the second bet. Should you win you will now have six on the table, pull off 4 so you keep two on the third bet. If you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, add two to the 4 on the game table for a sum total of six on the fourth round.
If you do not win on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A profit on the initial round followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Success on the 1st 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the 1st three with a loss on the 4th means you are even. Winning at all four wagers gives you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you can squander the 2nd wager five times for every favorable streak of four rounds and in the end, experience no loss.
