Punto Banco Practices and Method

Punto Banco Policies

Baccarat chemin de fer is bet on with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below ten are valued at their printed number while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the 1st number is ignored. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of one (five plus six = 11; ignore the initial ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be given out using the following rules:

- If the gambler or bank has a total of 8 or 9, the two players hold.

- If the gambler has five or lower, she takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the gambler stays, the banker hits on a total less than 5. If the gambler hits, a guide is used to see if the house holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The larger of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the house pay out nineteen to Twenty (equal cash minus a 5 percent commission. Commission are kept track of and cleared out once you quit the game so make sure you still have money remaining just before you depart). Winning bets on the player pays one to one. Winning bets for a tie frequently pays eight to one but occasionally nine to one. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 rounds. Avoid putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus eight to one)

Played correctly baccarat provides pretty decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some accepted false impressions. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Recording previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper needs.

The most familiar and almost certainly the most favorable plan is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This tactic is employed to build up profits and minimizing losses.

Start by wagering one chip. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the table for a sum of three dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have six on the table, remove 4 so you have 2 on the third round. Should you come away with a win on the third wager, put down 2 to the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th round.

If you don’t win on the 1st round, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first round followed by a loss on the second causes a hit of 2. Success on the initial two with a hit on the third gives you with a profit of two. And success on the initial three with a loss on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all four bets gives you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you are able to lose the second bet five times for every successful run of 4 wagers and still are even.
